HIT Inc. is currently on the lookout for safe, dependable, honest drivers to add to the fleet for local and regional work. We require drivers to have at least two years of CDL-A driving experience, and have an acceptable MVR and DOT history. We check one personal and one work reference. We haul primarily intermodal and dry van loads.
The compensation package is very competitive and offers 100% paid dental, life insurance and AD&D as well as 65% of medical insurance for the employee. Vision, AFLAC and other coverage is available. Our drivers typically work more than 40 hours per week. We pay a monthly cell phone reimbursement of $25.00.
Drivers enjoy one week paid vacation after one year of employment and two weeks paid vacation after that. There are five paid holidays and two floating holidays of choice.
Our local and regional drivers are home every night and every weekend. We offer a referral bonus of $800.00 for recruiting a new driver (upon successful completion of probationary period of the driver you refer.)
Our trucks have XM radio. There is optional weekend work if you want it. We haul no touch freight.
Bonuses include: Inspection Bonus — based on level of inspection passed, and Quarterly Bonus — based on company profit, safety, hours worked, and years worked.
